The Doulton Ceramic has established a worldwide reputation for over 150 years for providing the ultimate in water protection. In countries where your life depends on safe clean drinking water, the Doulton is recognized as the best protection against waterborne diseases. Now, with the Ultraviolet unit attached to the ceramic filter, the combined unit has the additional capability of reducing pathogenic bacteria and viruses. The ceramic micro-prefilter reduces parasites and particulates greater than 0.9 microns in size, Lead, dirt and chlorine are also reduced by the ceramic filter. Any potential bacteria and viruses in the water are then fully exposed to a strong Ultraviolet germicidal dose. The extraordinary "Double Pass System"delivers a greater dose of ultraviolet than single pass systems. The combined Ceramic + Ultraviolet provides excellent performance in reducing waterborne pathogens & other contaminants.

The HCP+Ultraviolet Tandem Unit - (Reduces bacteria and viruses). The combination of Ceramic + Ultraviolet provides excellent performance in reducing waterborne pathogens. (Requires a grounded electrical outlet near the sink or under sink for undercounter model.)

The HCP+Fluoride Tandem Unit - (reduces fluoride). In addition to the Doulton ceramic benefits, The Fluoride Upgrade will reduce sodium fluoride, fluorosalicic acid and arsenic to safe levels. Filter must be changed once a year.

ADVANTAGES:

Cryptosporidium, Giardia are significantly reduced by the ceramic. whereas, standard ultraviolet units are not as effective in reducing parasites.

The Doulton model HCP with Ultracarb are certified by NSF for Standards 42 & 53 (chlorine, lead & cyst reduction)
