We wanted to protect your teeth with our choice of polypropylene #5 because it has no known leaching characteristics and it is soft if you hit a bump on the road. Is it ok to put hot liquids in my Aquasteel Bottle? No. Aquasteel bottles are single walled and should not be used for holding hot liquids. Warm beverages can be used but at a personal comfort level. The single-walled construction allows more volume and even an option to put your bottle on a flame. Can I put my Aquasteel Bottle in the freezer? No.We do not recommend this and it will void your manufacturers warranty. Can I put my Aquasteel bottle on a stove? Yes. You can put it on a fire or a stove. Beware that you don't melt the plastic lid or burn yourself. What is stainless steel and what makes it so great?
